Sana Iqbal (16 January 1987 – 24 October 2017) was an Indian solo female cross-country biker known for her mission to raise awareness about suicide and depression. Born in Hyderabad, Sana developed a passion for biking in her early years and was raised in a liberal Muslim family that placed emphasis on humanity and purity of heart. After struggling with depression and attempting suicide, she embarked on a journey of self-discovery and decided to use her experiences to help others. Sana completed a remarkable solo trip across India, covering 38,000 km, offering 135 seminars, and engaging with various communities. She also provided counseling on her Facebook page and conducted workshops to address the issues that trouble young minds. Tragically, Sana's life was cut short in a car accident in 2017, sparking controversy and legal proceedings. Despite her untimely passing, Sana's impactful work continues to be carried forward by her close friend, Arif Ali Mohammed, through the "Suicide is not the solution" Facebook page, which she managed. Sana's legacy lives on as she remains an inspiration and a symbol of hope for many.
