Peter Raymond Cargill was a distinguished Jamaican international football player known for his versatility as a midfielder and defender. William Wallace Cargill was the third of seven children born to Scottish sea captain William Dick Cargill and New Yorker Edna Davis. The family relocated to Janesville, Wisconsin, in 1856, where they pursued an agricultural lifestyle.
