Rachel Trixie Anne Gardner, Baroness Gardner of Parkes, was a distinguished Australian-born British dentist and a Conservative member of the House of Lords for over 40 years. She was the first Australian woman honored with a life peerage, becoming Baroness Gardner of Parkes in 1981.
