    Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon, October 13 at 2:00 P.M.,from the baptist Church in Arncld for Mrs. W.B. Hagler who died Tuesday evening, October 9, following a car accident.

    Rev. Robert Williams of North Platte officiated at the services, Marlene Ferguson and Jeannette Andrew sang "Beautiful Isle Of Somewhere" and "Just Inside The Eastern Gate" accompanied by Mrs Albert Fuller at the piano.

    Pallbearers were; Joe McClure, Bob Watson, C.E.Mills, Roy McDandless, Crawford Pool and Bob Sparge. Interment was in the Arnold Cemetery.

    Bessie Oda Stone Hagler daughter of John Stone and Esther Tucker, was born March 27, 1895 at Paul,Nebr. near Nebraska City, Nebr. She was 65 years, 6 months and 14 days old at the time of her death.

    She moved to a ranch in Holt ccunty in 1902 where she spent her days. Mrs Hagler joined the Evangelical Church in Green Valley community when she was about 12 years old. She moved to pawnee County in 1915 where she lived for several years. She received her education in country schools and attended the Lincoln Business College and Peru State Teachers College. She taught in the Phoenix community where she met Willis Hagler. They were united in marriage on March 28, 1925 in Burke, South Dakota. To this union three children were born; Alice Marie(Mrs Bill Conner), Donald Willis,and Melvin Morris who'died at birth.

    In 1928 the Hagler family moved to the Pleasant Hill Store, 10 miles northeast of Arnold. They sold their business and moved into Arnold in 1936.

    Mrs. Hagler helped her husband in his business for several years. She joined the Baptist Church in Arnold in 1941 where She worked as Sunday School teacher, Trustee and in missionary work.

    She belonged to the Wee Wan Chu Club, the Come Join Us Club ans helped in many projects in the Arnold community.

    Mrs. Hagler was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother and one sister, She leaves to mourn her passing her husband; two children; three grand-daughters and four grand-sons; one sister, Mrs Guy Strong of Grand Island, Nebr., four brothers; Guy T.Stone of Grand Island, Nebr, Loren E.Stone of Littleton Colorado; Rolland R.Stone or Modesto, California; and Robert H.Stone of Senora, California, and many relatives and friends.
