Georgia, Carroll County July 29, 1861
In the name of God amen
I Charles Mabry of the County of Carroll and State of Georgia, being of sound and disposing mind and memory and being desirous of settling my worldly affairs while I have strength so to do, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all Wills by me at anytime heretofore made.
1st I give and bequeath desire that all my Just debts be paid out of my property.
2nd I give and bequeath after my debts are paid The remainder of my property to my beloved Mother consisting of negroes, lands, stock, etc. to have hold and dispose of as she may think proper.
I appoint Catherine Mabry my Executrix.

Carroll Court of Ordinary March Term 1863
The Will of Charles Mabry being produced in Open Court for probate by the Executrix to prove the same and one of the Witnesses to said Will, to wit Thomas Bonner, having subscribed the following affidavit indorsed (sic) on the Will. March adjourned Term 1863 of Carroll Court of Ordinary, came into open Court at this adjourned Term of the Court Thomas Bonner and being duly sworn deposeth that he saw Charles Mabry sign and publish the within as his last Will and Testament while of sound and disposing mind. That he witnessed the same for him at his request and in his presents (sic) and that he saw Thomas Loveless and N. Shelnutt sign the same as Witnesses in the presents of the Testator and of Each Other and at the request of the Testator and the same was Executed voluntarily by him on the day it purported to have been Executed. Sworn and subscribed before me in open Court March Adjourned Term 1863.
