    [2] Death note, From an unidentified contemporary newspaper: Obituary notices. Charles W. Whaley. Funeral services were held today for Charles W. Whaley, 89, who died Sunday in Woodland Memorial Hospital. Interment followed in the Woodland Cemetery. He had resided in California the past 55 years and in Yolo county for 50 years. He and his wife, Olivia, resided at 815 Rosewood Way. For many years Whaley managed the Keystone motel in Woodland. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion. Kraft Brothers chapel handled the arrangements.
