    Charlotte Neno died on the 25th of April 1908 at 130 Nelson Street Petone, Wellington NZ at the age of 57years. The cause of death as stated on the entry in the Register Generals Office Register was Chronic Gastritis and Asthenia ( Tuberculosis), the duration of the last illness was stated as 12 month. She was attended by Dr H Harding and was last seen by him on the 24th April 1908. On the death registration form also her parents names which were Henry Hays and Kathlen Hayes nee Elwood. Her father’s occupation was listed as an agent. Her place of birth was stated as Kilkenny Ireland and it was stated that she had been in New Zealand for 34 years. She was buried on the 27th of April 1908 at the Taita Cemetery Lower Hut Wellington NZ. The grave bears no markings but does have a large Eucalyptus tree growing out of it. The plot was identified by the records for the cemetery held by the sextant of the Taita Cemetery.
