He died peacefully athome after a long ilness. He will be sadly missed by his loving wifeNancy and their children Catherine & her husband H. John Reader andtheir children Dylan & Leigh, Janice and her husband Donald Shaw,Patricia and her husband Charles Pace, all of Halifax, NS, James andhis wife Shirley and their children Darleen and Grayson of St Johns,Raymond of Corner Brook and his daughter Allyson of grand Falls. Alsoleft to mourn are his sisters Mary Walker, Aileen Kenny, GertrudeParsons and Dorothy Cossitt of Corner Brook and Shirley Buckingham ofDelta, B.C. A veteran of the Canadian Army, he was a member of theRoyal Canadian Legion, branch 13. His remains are to be cremated.There will be no visitation. Memorial service to be held at the MostHoly Redeemer Cathedral on Mt. Bernard Avenue on Tuesday April 28,1992 at 4:30 PM. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be madeto the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of one's choice. Funeralarrangements are unde the supervision of Fillatre's Funeral HomesLtd., 218 Curling Street.
