He was 50 and a native of Amite. Visiting was at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday. Visiting at the funeral home, 8 a.m. until religious services at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Norris Grubbs. Interment in Noah Cemetery, Uneedus. Survived by three sisters, Lois Sweeney, Amite, Elaine Davis and Geneve Lee, both of Loranger; and a brother, James Lanier, Folsom.
