Record Source: EDGAR EARL ROBERTS WALKER - Edgar Earl Roberts, 83, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2003, at his farm. He was a native of Hammond, a World War II veteran and a retired tax auditor for the state of Louisiana. He was a member of Walker Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Imogene Cleaver Roberts of Walker; two daughters, Debra Roberts Brune of Walker and Amanda Roberts Gilmore of Castle Rock, Colo.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Roberts; his mother, Minnie Calmes Roberts; a son, Grant E. Roberts; and five brothers and sisters. Visitation will be today at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 5 to 9 p.m. and Friday at Walker Baptist Church from 8:30 a.m. until the Rev. Steve Horn and Richard Blue conduct the funeral at 10. Burial will be at Mount Stevens Cemetery, Tickfaw.
