Record Source: [KING - from Bruce.ftw] [1] Wayne Perkins' narrative (p.172) says that "A John Kin g , son ofRobert and Grace, was baptized 8 January 1860 s o p erhaps Elijah'sfirst or middle name was John. There i s n o record of an Elijah." Iassume that means that there 's n o record of an 1859-1860 Elijahbeing baptized. [2] Wayne also says that it "is likely that Elijah and Mar i a wereraised in Bauline. Like his father, Elijah wa s a fi sherman."(p.172) (3) There's a fisherman listed as "King Elijah" in the 19 3 6 BroadCove directory. Perhaps that's this Elijah or, m or e likely, it'sthe one born about 1871 who died on 7 Ju n 19 59.
