It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gertrude Parsonsannounce her passing at her family residence following a lengthy andcourageous batle with cancer on Friday, October 16, 1992 in her 69thyear. Predeceased by her son Robert in 1960. She leaves to mourn herloving husband Malcolm, her daughter Sandra McCallum of Darthmouth,Nova Scotia, 3 grandchildren Heather McCallum of Toronto, Ont, Robertand David McCallum of Halifax, Nova Scotia; four sisters: Mary Walker,Aileen Kenny and Dorothy (Mrs Gus Cossitt) of corner Brook and ShirleyBuckingham of Delta, B.C. Also leaving to mourn a number of sister &brother in laws, nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends. Therewill be no visitation. Following cremation a memorial service will beheld at the Holy Redeemer Cathedral, Wednesday, October 21st at 2pm.As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the WesternMemorial Regional Hospital Foundation for cancer Research. Funeralarrangements entrusted to Filatres Funeral Home.
