    Record Source: Harrison Oscar Ward quietly passed away last week Thursday evening while sitting in his chair. Mr. Ward was born in Vermont, September 25, 1833, and died at his home in Patch Grove Dec. 23, 1909, at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 28 days. He was married To Miss Rebecca Lemons September 25Th, 1854. To this union twelve children were born, six dying in infancy. The remaining are as follows: George of Bloominton; Lottie, Mrs. Fred Burke, of Milwaukee; Ella, Mrs. E.D. Fox, of LaCrosse; Orren of Minnesota; Erven of Patch Grove; Fannie, Mrs. Dell Moore, of Bloomington. He passed the most of his life on Blake's Prairie, and was held in high esteem by all what knew him. The funeral services were held at the church. The sermon was a very appropriate one. Interment was at the Nagle Cemetery.

    Harrison Oscar Ward quietly passed away last week Thursday evening while sitting in his chair. Mr. Ward was born in Vermont, September 25, 1833, and died at his home in Patch Grove Dec. 23, 1909, at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 28 days. He was married To Miss. Rebecca Lemons September 25th, 1854. To this union twelve children were born, six dying in infancy.
