Her parents came from Belgium about 1857. They were associated with her husbands grandmother who was also Belgian. After George died Mary remained on the farm with sons Vic and Sid, who worked it for her until it was sold. Mary the went to live with her daughter, Ann Breed in Ungarra. She was mentally alert to the end at age 91 years.
