She was born July 28, 1922, in West Columbia, to the late Clarence E. and Stephna Gathright. She graduated from Patti Welder High School in Victoria and Draughon's Business College, and was retired from Orsinger Buick Company in San Antonio.
[Survived by her husband, daughter, son, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a sister.]-ed.
Preceded in death by: brother, Clarence Gathright Jr. and one grandson.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's United Methodist Church, the Rev. Ken F. Seller Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
Memorials: donor's choice, Alzheimer's Association.
