    Mrs. Martha Salter age 82,wife of Mr. William Melton
    Salter died at her residence near Crest Wednesday
    afternoon, January 13th . Other than her husband she
    leaves ,four daughters, Mrs. W.H. Shelton of
    LaGrange, Mrs. S.K.Moore and Miss Dolly Salter of
    Crest and Mrs. G.C. McDaniel of Molena, two sons
    Mr. R.M. Salter of Meansville and Mr. T.M. Salter of
    Crest; sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great
    grandchildren.


    The funeral was held at the residence Thursday
    afternoon, January 14th with Rev. John Taylor and
    Rev. C.O. English officiating. Interment in Mount
    Olive Cemetery near Molena.
