Robert stayed in New Brunswick after the family moved to California, and had ownership of the farm. He eventually sold this property to Ward McCann in Rollingdam.
After selling the property, Robert Parks moved to Cathiness just outside of St. George. The first few of their chilrden were born there. At that time, the house burnt, and Robert sold the property and moved to their home in Breaadalbane. (Kelly Road).
