He wasa devoted member of his parish, St. Paul's Church, Herring Cove, andwas a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a beloved husband,father, gra ndfather, uncle, son, brother and friend. He will bedeeply missed by all who k new and loved him. His greatest love wasfor his faith and family, especially h is precious granddaughter,Kelly, who shared a special relationship with her "B inky". Survivingare sons, Jim (Christine), Mississauga, Ont.; Robert, Halifax;daughter, Mary Jane (Borden) Hovey, Halifax; beloved granddaughter,Kelly Hove y; sister, Vernita (Douglas) Nickerson, Mount Uniacke;Donna (Dick) Morley, Ham ilton, Ont.; and Marlene Kiley, LowerSackville. He was predeceased by his belo ved wife, Anne (Davis);nephew, Douglas Nickerson; great-nephew, Taylor Nickers on. Visitationwill be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday, April 10, and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, April 11, both in J.A. Snows Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St.,Halifax. Fu neral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, April 12, inSt. Paul's Roman Cathol ic Church, Herring Cove. Cremation to follow.Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
