Interment in Greensburg Cemetery, Greensburg. Survived by her beloved companion, Huey Tortorice; a son, Michael Craig Fugler, Greensburg; a sister, Betty Jean Strickland Catalanotto, Roseland; four grandchildren, David Fugler, Shara
    DeAnn Moticheck, Sherri Fugler and Conner Fugler; and five great-grandchildren, Dakota, Garrett and Adellia Moticheck and Brett and Dustin Linder. Preceded in death by a son, Robert Preston Fugler; father, James Preston Strickland; mother, Lillian Conna Webb Strickland; and sisters, Evelyn Faye Strickland McKenzie and Helen Rita Strickland Elliott. She was a retired secretary-treasurer of the St. Helena Parish Police Jury and a rural community organizer of Southeast Spouse Abuse Program of St. Helena Parish. She was a past president of Louisiana Secretary-Treasurer Organization, from 1977 to 1988, president of United Methodist Women, PPR chairwoman, lay delegate to
    the annual Methodist Conference and lay delegate to the Methodist General Conference.
