Record Source: in his father's Will all of his real and personal estate, apart from his money, was left to his wife Charlotte. On her death the house at Byers Green in which they lived, together with adjoining land, garden, barn, stable and a garth were to go to his son Thomas. Thomas's sister Sarah was to receive the residue of his money after payment of expenses and debts - in the event of there being insufficient money to pay these, he stipulated that son Thomas and daughter Sarah were to pay them.
