Bela Bach is a German politician of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) and a former member of the Bundestag from the state of Bavaria. Born in Magdeburg, Saxony-Anhalt, Bach completed her Abitur in 2010 and pursued law at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich until 2018. She has been a member of the SPD since 2007 and succeeded Martin Burkert in the Bundestag on 4 February 2020. During her time in parliament, Bach was a member of the Committee on Transport and Digital Infrastructure and the Committee on Petitions. Edgar Hoover's FBI due to accusations of Communist Party involvement, which they denied. Gold went on to become a professor at the University of Pittsburgh, a research director at Case Western Reserve University, and a professor at Claremont Graduate School. He authored several books and passed away at the age of 96 on April 14, 2012.
