Chapin Hall (July 12, 1816 – September 12, 1879) was a prominent Republican United States Representative from Pennsylvania, serving from 1859 to 1861. Born in Busti, New York, Hall received his education at the Jamestown Academy before moving to Pine Grove (now Russell), Warren County, Pennsylvania, where he delved into the lumber business and mercantile pursuits. Later, he relocated to Warren, Pennsylvania, and ventured into banking. Hall's political career saw him elected as a Republican to the Thirty-sixth Congress, after which he pursued interests in lumber and worsted goods manufacturing in various locations.
