Eaton Leonard 'Leon' Green, born on 21 September 1967, was a Yardie gang member known for his involvement in armed robbery, drug dealing, and extortion in South London. He became the first Yardie to act as a police informant for the Metropolitan Police, and his testimony during his 1997 deportation hearing exposed police protection for his criminal activities by immigration and intelligence officers of the Drug Related Violence and Intelligence Unit. Green's criminal activities also involved the assistance of false passports provided by the DRVI and securing residency rights through marriage under questionable circumstances. Having fled Jamaica on murder charges, Green settled in Brixton where he engaged in drug dealing and was eventually recruited as an informant by an immigration officer. His arrest in 1993 for one of the largest armed robberies in UK history caused a scandal, and he was later convicted of armed robbery, possession of firearms, and unlawful wounding. After serving six years in prison, Green faced deportation and was eventually sent back to Jamaica in 1999.

Eaton Jackson Bowers (June 17, 1865 – October 26, 1939) was a prominent U.S. Representative from Mississippi. He began his career after gaining admission to the bar at the remarkable age of seventeen. Bowers was actively involved in law and newspaper work, serving as the editor and proprietor of the Gulf Coast Progress at Bay St. Louis. He was a dedicated member of the Democratic State executive committee and served in various legislative positions, including the Mississippi State Senate and House of Representatives. His political involvement extended to delegate positions at the Democratic National Conventions in 1900 and 1916. Notably, Bowers was elected as a Democrat to multiple Congresses and was known for his staunch opposition to equality for African Americans. His views were explicitly expressed in a speech to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1904. After his congressional tenure, Bowers resumed the practice of law until his passing in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was laid to rest in Cedar Rest Cemetery, Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
