Henning Stensrud, born on August 20, 1977, is a retired Norwegian ski jumper who made his debut with the Norwegian World Cup team in 1996. Throughout his career, he achieved notable fourth-place finishes in Engelberg (1997) and Oberstdorf (1998). Stensrud participated in the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, securing 23rd place in the individual normal hill and 38th place in the individual large hill events, while also finishing in the team large hill event. His most significant achievement at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships was an eighth-place finish in the individual large hill event at Lahti in 2001. The pinnacle of his career came in 2005 when he clinched a team large hill event victory in Lahti, marking his only World Cup triumph. Henning Schwarz (24 October 1928 – 13 April 1993) was a prominent German politician affiliated with the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Born in Bad Oldesloe, he was the son of the well-known German CDU politician Werner Schwarz. Schwarz pursued his education in law at Würzburg and Hamburg, and went on to earn a Doctor of Law in 1958. He subsequently built a successful career as a lawyer. Throughout his political career, Schwarz served in various cabinet positions in the Schleswig-Holstein state government under Minister-Presidents Helmut Lemke, Gerhard Stoltenberg, and Uwe Barschel, primarily as Minister of Justice. Notably, he held the position of Deputy Minister-President under Stoltenberg and continued in the same role when Barschel assumed office. Following the 1987 Schleswig-Holstein state election, Schwarz assumed the role of interim Minister-President of Schleswig-Holstein until a new government was formed after the May 1988 election. He retired from politics after the Social Democratic Party emerged victorious in the election. Schwarz is recognized for being the longest-serving interim Minister-President of a German state, holding the position for the entire 11th legislative term, which lasted approximately eight months. He received the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 1978. Schwarz was married and had three children, and he passed away in Kiel.
