Jovan Henry Allen Belcher (July 24, 1987 – December 1, 2012) was an American professional football linebacker who spent his entire career with the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He was born and raised in West Babylon, New York, where he excelled as a high school athlete before attending the University of Maine. During his college years, Belcher was a standout player for the Maine Black Bears football team, earning All-American honors twice and demonstrating his versatility by switching from linebacker to defensive end in his junior year.Despite not being selected in the 2009 NFL draft, Belcher signed as a free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs and eventually became a regular starter at inside linebacker. Jovan Samuilović Horvat de Kurtič, also known as Ivan Horvat, was a Russian general of Serbian origin who played a significant role in the foundation of New Serbia in modern-day Kirovohrad Oblast. Born in 1713, Jovan Horvat's family history traced back to Arvati, Macedonia, and his ancestors were prominent landowners and military figures. In 1751, Jovan Horvat and several other military officers migrated to Russia and were granted citizenship and employment in the Russian military. During his time in Russia, Horvat achieved the rank of General and was instrumental in the establishment of the Fort of St. Elizabeth, which played a crucial role in Russia's victory over the Ottoman Empire.
