Kathie Conway (February 8, 1955 – August 24, 2024) was an American politician and a Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing the 104th District, which includes parts of St. Charles County, Missouri. Born in Jerseyville, Illinois, Conway graduated from Alton Senior High School in 1973 and later earned a bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement Administration from Western Illinois University in Macomb. Before entering politics, she worked as a civil and criminal investigator in the St. Louis and eastern Missouri areas. Conway, along with her husband Patrick, had one son. Conway ventured into elected politics when she ran for the 14th District Missouri House seat in 2010, succeeding Republican incumbent Joe Smith. Throughout her tenure, she served on various committees, including Appropriations - Public Safety and Corrections, Chairman Select Budget Committee Fiscal Review, and Crime Prevention and Public Safety. She passed away from brain cancer on August 24, 2024, at the age of 69.
