R. R. Madan, also known as Ramigani Madan Mohan Reddy, was an esteemed Indian Telugu film director, writer, and producer. Hailing from Madanapalle in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, he honed his skills at Sri Venkateswara University in Tirupathi. During his college days, Madan showcased his creative talents by writing short stories and directing play-lets. His career took flight in Hyderabad, the hub of the Telugu film industry, where he apprenticed under the renowned film cameraman, S. Gopal Reddy, and subsequently ventured into co-writing for several films.Madan's breakthrough came with the critically acclaimed Telugu film "Aa Naluguru" in 2004, where he showcased his prowess as a scriptwriter. This milestone production garnered significant accolades, including three Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Awards. In 2006, he founded his own banner, "Aa Naluguru films," and went on to write, produce, and direct the successful movie "Pellaina Kothalo."Tragically, Madan passed away from a stroke on 19 November 2022, leaving behind a legacy of impactful storytelling and memorable contributions to the Telugu film industry.
