Nedra Talley-Ross, formerly known as Nedra Talley, is a retired American singer born on January 27, 1946. She gained prominence as a member of the renowned girl group the Ronettes, alongside her cousins Ronnie and Estelle Bennett. Following Ronnie's passing in 2022, Talley stands as the last surviving original member of the group. In 1967, she and Estelle Bennett departed from the Ronettes, citing interference from the group's producer, Phil Spector, as a contributing factor. Talley's encounter with her future husband, Scott Ross, led her to embrace Christianity, prompting her departure from the group due to her belief in the limited space for Christian-inspired music. Talley ventured into Christian music, recording several songs and releasing the album "The Courts of the King: The Worship Music of Ted Sandquist." She also recorded the solo contemporary Christian music album "Full Circle," produced by her husband. Talley is of Black, Native American, Irish, and Puerto Rican descent and was married to Scott Ross, with whom she has four children. As of 2007, she was involved in real estate business and resides in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In 2007, the Ronettes were honored with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
