Pasquale Russo, born on February 28, 1947, is an Italian Camorrista and co-founder of the Russo clan from Nola. For over thirty years, he, along with his brother Salvatore, has been leading the clan. Since 1995, he has been on the "most wanted list" of the Italian Ministry of the Interior for various criminal activities, including Camorra association, murder, concealment of corpses, multiple homicides, and racketeering. Following an international warrant issued against him in 1996, he was finally arrested on November 1, 2009, in Sperone (Avellino). His arrest led to the apprehension of other individuals associated with him, including his younger brother Carmine Russo and businessman Andrea Grandi. Pasquale Russo is currently serving several life sentences. In May 2019, his son, Antonio Russo, was also arrested on charges of extortion. The Russo clan and its members have been a significant focus of Italian law enforcement efforts in combatting organized crime.

He is a graduate of the "Istituto Magistrale di Lagonegro" and later enrolled in the Faculty of Philology of the University of Bari in 1976. Scutari is deeply passionate about the Arbereshe language and has participated in numerous conventions and seminars, emphasizing the linguistic diversity and cultural heritage of Basilicata. His dedication earned him a docent title from the University of Basilicata in 2003 as a linguistic and cultural operator in the Arbereshe area.Scutari is a prolific author, contributing to the field of Albanian dialect studies in Italy with numerous publications, including "Gli Arbëreshë e la «Rilindja»" and "Dizionario arbëresh di San Costantino Albanese." He is also a collaborator of the periodical "Bashkia," focusing on the cultural section issued by the Municipality of S.Constantino Albanese.
