Naik Saif Ali Janjua (1922–1948) was a Pakistani non-commissioned officer in the Azad Kashmir Regiment, famously known as the second recipient of Pakistan's highest military honor, the Nishan-e-Haider. He displayed remarkable valor and gallantry during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947-1948, ultimately sacrificing his life in the line of duty. Born into a Punjabi Janjua Rajput family, Janjua's military journey began in the British Indian Army during World War II, and he later joined the Pakistan Army after the partition of India. Notably, he established the Haidri Force and played a pivotal role in repulsing enemy attacks during the war.
