Salwa Mahmasani Moumina (1908–1957) was a Lebanese women's rights activist, university vice president, professor, and writer of short stories. Born and raised in Beirut, she was a pioneer in the Lebanese women's movement. She studied at Al-Makassed Philanthropic Islamic Association and St. Joseph School, excelling in Arabic literature and language. Moumina taught Arabic for 13 years and published literary articles in Arabic newspapers. Her collection "With Life" includes 15 short stories discussing social and family issues. An advocate for women's rights, she held positions in the Lebanese Women Association and represented Lebanon at international conferences. Moumina expressed her views through her writing, emphasizing narratives that conveyed morals and compassion. She married Muhammad Aziz Mumna in 1941 and passed away in 1957.
