Sanam Jung is a well-known Pakistani actress and television presenter who has gained fame for her leading roles in popular television series such as Dil e Muztar, Mohabat Subh Ka Sitara Hai, Mere Humdum Mere Dost, and Alvida. She began her career as a video jockey on Play TV in 2008 and later transitioned to AAG TV in 2010 while pursuing her MBA in Finance. Jung made her acting debut in Dil e Muztar and went on to appear in several successful dramas. From 2014 to 2018, she hosted the morning show Jago Pakistan Jago on Hum TV. In 2019, she made a comeback with Mein Na Janoo and portrayed a negative character for the first time in Qarar in 2020. Sanam Maher is a renowned Pakistani journalist and feminist, known for her insightful book "The Sensational Life of Qandeel Baloch," which delves into the life of the late model Qandeel Baloch. Born to a maxillofacial surgeon mother, Maher has made significant contributions to various publications including Express Tribune, Dawn, Al-Jazeera, The New York Times, Buzzfeed, The Guardian, The Scroll, and Roads and Kingdoms. With over a decade of experience, she has written extensively on Pakistani culture, business, politics, women's and minority rights. Maher's journalistic endeavors have taken her to the conflict-ridden region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and she has also served as an editor at Herald and the national desk at The Express Tribune and The New York Times. Her first book was shortlisted for the Shakti Bhatt First Book Prize and the Indian book prize award. Additionally, in collaboration with BBOD Pakistan and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s SOC Outreach, she co-authored "Knowledge is Bulletproof," a book highlighting the lives of Shazia Ramzan and Kainat Riaz, who were shot alongside Malala Yousufzai in 2012.
