Shadrach Azariah Hall (July 15, 1835 – February 7, 1915) was an American farmer, educator, and politician. Born in Jefferson County, New York, he later moved to Wisconsin with his parents and graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1861. During the American Civil War, Hall served in the 5th Wisconsin Infantry Regiment. In 1869, he relocated to Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, where he held various positions, including serving on the Yellow Medicine County Commission and as the Yellow Medicine County Superintendent of Schools. A member of the Republican Party, Hall also served in the Minnesota Senate in 1877 and 1878. His dedication to public service continued as he moved to Redwood Falls, Minnesota in 1907. Hall's legacy lives on, as he was laid to rest in Wood Lake, Minnesota, following his passing in Granite Falls, Minnesota. His contributions to education and politics remain an integral part of Minnesota's history.
