Stefen Daniel Romero, born on October 17, 1988, is a former professional baseball right fielder who notably played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners and in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles and Orix Buffaloes.Romero's baseball journey began at Sunnyside High School in Tucson, Arizona, where he excelled in both baseball and basketball. He further honed his skills at Pima Community College before transferring to Oregon State University, where he played for the Oregon State Beavers baseball team.During his time with the Seattle Mariners, Romero made his professional debut with the Single–A Clinton LumberKings and went on to achieve significant success, earning accolades such as the Mariners Minor League Player of the Year. His career also took him to the NPB, where he played for the Orix Buffaloes and later signed with the Rakuten Golden Eagles.In 2021, Romero returned to the Orix Buffaloes before joining the Los Angeles Dodgers on a minor league contract.
