Tomo Đurov Milinović, also known as Tomo Milinović, was a prominent Serbian writer and revolutionary who played a vital role in the First Serbian Uprising against the Ottoman Empire. Born in Morinj in the Bay of Kotor, he started his career as a sailor and later became a successful merchant in Trieste, expanding his trading networks across Europe. In 1809, he joined the uprising and became a trusted advisor and head of artillery under Karađorđe Petrović. His strategic expertise and leadership were instrumental in the pivotal Battle of Deligrad, where the Serbian army achieved a remarkable victory over the Turks. Following the uprising's failure, he sought exile in the Russian Empire, where he authored two books.
