    Madame de Brice (birth date unknown – after 1652) was a French educator known for her work in Port Royal, Nova Scotia. As the mother of two priests and a widow, she was appointed as the teacher for girls in the French colony. Despite the lack of a nunnery, she successfully managed the school and also served as the governess for the governor's children. After the governor's death in 1650, Madame de Brice was imprisoned but later released in 1652. Her exact date of death is unknown, but she is presumed to have returned to France after her release.
