Derrick Binet Mayes (born Jan 28, 1974) is a former American professional football player known for his time as a wide receiver in the NFL. He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 1996. Mayes also played for the Seattle Seahawks and briefly with the Kansas City Chiefs. After retiring, he graduated with a communications degree from Notre Dame, now working in video production and speaking to young athletes.
