William Thomasson
William Poindexter Thomasson (October 8, 1797 – December 29, 1882) was a U.S. Representative from Kentucky. Elected as a Whig to Congress, he declined renomination and moved to Chicago to practice law. During the Civil War, he served in the Union Army.
